The Materials for Quantum Network are hosting the UK Materials for Quantum Plenary 2026, taking place from midday on 8th to 1pm on 9th January 2026 at the Manchester Marriott Hotel Piccadilly.
The event will bring together representatives in materials and quantum from across the UK landscape in academia, government organisations and industry to explore the critical materials challenges underpinning the UK’s quantum technology ambitions.
The event will include thought-provoking presentations, strategic insights, and the chance to discuss the direction of quantum materials research in the UK.
If you are interested in attending, please submit your details via the Expression of Interest Form as soon as possible.
There are a number of funded places available, covering local accommodation and meals. These will begin being allocated from 3 November 2025 on a rolling basis – so early submission is encouraged.
