The M4QN Industry and Knowledge TIG and, the M4QN Semiconductors and Photonics MIG will co-host a workshop on Scale-Up and Standardization for Photonic Quantum Technologies at NPL Teddington, on October 30th – 31st. It is free to attend, including refreshments. Very limited travel funds are available for those unable to fund attendance.

This event will draw together metrology, industry (from multinationals to spin-offs), and academia working in the field of photonic quantum technology with the goal of identifying challenges and opportunities in tooling,  characterization and standardization for scale-up.

With confirmed speakers spanning UK industry (including PsiQuantum, ORCA Computing, Nu Quantum), funders (including InnovateUK), metrologists (NPL) and academia from UK to Australia, this will be a forum to make new connections, discover current challenges, learn about new research in measurement and contribute to pre-normative standards processes.

It is an all-invited speaker event; however, posters are welcomed, and break-out discussion sessions are planned.
