Posted on 6th December 2024 in Advocacy and Policy, Industry and Knowledge Transfer, NewsOn 8 November 2024, M4QN had a stand at National Quantum Technologies Showcase organised by Innovate UK. It’s the second year we’ve attended.
This year we focused our engagement with attendees on M4QN’s Future Directions report, and the UK’s needs for quantum materials development infrastructure, in the light of the findings the Quantum Infrastructure Review by the Royal Academy of Engineering.
Attendees were a cross-section of UK industry, research, education and government, with a good proportion of international visitors too.
Charlie Patrickson, ECR at the University of Exeter and member of M4QN, joined M4QN manager Dr Isabella von Holstein on the stand for the day. Read his post on the day on LinkedIn
The annual event is a key element of the UK’s quantum sector. M4QN attends to represent the interdisciplinary research community in materials for quantum, and to highlight the need for continuing investment in research in this area.
