Training and Skills Base

The training and skills interest group will support the development of a diverse new generation of researchers in materials for quantum technologies. Efforts will focus on introducing researchers working on quantum technologies to relevant topics in materials, as well as driving interest in quantum technologies among materials science PhD students. Topics for training events will be defined by the group, and wider community, as the network is launched. As well as supporting knowledge exchange in the field, the group will plan and deliver a series of summer schools focused on materials for quantum technologies.
